The Orleans Room


The Orleans Room is our newest venue, with a recent opening in April of 2009.  Characterized by a very open floor plan with brick walls, oak flooring, and New Orleans-style lighting, this is the perfect room for any event…from a corporate seminar, rehearsal dinner, to a birthday or anniversary celebration.
The 120” screen and mounted projector are an added attraction of this versatile venue.  In fact, several of our clients have incorporated a slide show to be displayed of the honoree during the event, and their guests have loved it!  The Orleans Room can accommodate up to 140 guests for your special event.

Testimonial


My mother and I have been doing extensive research on the numerous sties available for weddings and receptions in Baton Rouge for the past several months. After hours of careful considerations and several phone calls, we narrowed our search to three possibilities and set up appointments to visit this past weekend. In all honesty, Oak Lodge was our outside consideration. Mom had her heart set on the location that we were to see last and I had mine set on the one that we were to see second. Oak Lodge was our first appointment. In fact, the only reason that I kept the appointment was that when I called, I was able to hear an enthusiastic voices on the phone that seemed to be sincerely interested in having me come in to look around.

"As we climbed in the car after leaving our last appointment my mother and I both immediately agreed that we needed no further time to decide…nothing could top Oak Lodge. Here’s why…

Oak Lodge was the most elegant facility. It is best suited to handle both a wedding and reception with no long awkward room turnover time at a very reasonable price. No other facility with which I spoke or that I visited offered to tailor anything to my day. What I saw was what I got unless I wanted to pay for outside professionals to come in and change things.

However, all these things aside, our biggest selling point…Dona and all the other staff. From the moment we walked in we were attended to and made to feel important (as was everyone who walked through the door). We never felt as if we were one of many or that whether or not we booked our event with Oak Lodge was of little importance. (I was shocked with the apathy at other locations!)

The excitement, the professionalism, and the attention to individual detail are all the qualities for which I was looking and I am thrilled with my decision. I look forward to my wedding. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience and I’m excited to have all of you work with me on the most important event of my life so far!!
